Use Project Photos to Explain Service Work
A useful project image shows customers what a service involves while respecting the customer's property and privacy.
Choose photos with a clear purpose
Select images that explain a process, show a completed result, or help a customer understand equipment or site preparation. A photo gallery works best when each image supports the service rather than serving as decoration alone.
Capture a consistent set of angles when possible, but do not edit images in a way that misrepresents the job. Label before-and-after photos clearly and only when they refer to the same approved project.
- Choose photos that answer a customer question.
- Represent the work accurately.
- Label project stages carefully.
Get permission and protect privacy
Ask before publishing customer property, recognizable people, or identifying details. Check the background for addresses, paperwork, license plates, or other information that should remain private.
Use alt text for meaningful visual content and captions for context. Keep file sizes manageable so a useful gallery does not slow the page.
- Get permission before posting.
- Remove private details in the frame.
- Optimize images for accessibility and speed.
